Spectrum of printed materials

PROBLEM
School administrators desired a design that referenced an iconic part of the CSULB campus. They insisted that the school colors (black and gold) be utilized in the design.

SOLUTION
The obvious choice was to incorporate the large "blue pyramid" gymnasium, which is visible for several miles surrounding the campus. A grid design was created so that the typography could be based on the grid as well as the pyramid illustration.
