Design Brief

The HR Cloud Software Suite involved the design of a comprehensive web and mobile application for HR management.

The challenge was to develop an intuitive and efficient platform that catered to the diverse needs of HR professionals. Through extensive research and user testing, we identified pain points in existing HR software solutions and crafted a design strategy focused on simplicity, ease of use, and streamlined workflows. Our goal was to empower HR teams with a modern and intuitive toolset to effectively manage employee data, recruitment, onboarding, performance tracking, and other essential HR processes.

My Role

As the Design Director, my role was to set the product vision, build a team of performant designers while overseeing the practical implementation. Building key relationships within the organization were design direction and leading a large team of designers.

Reporting directly to the CEO, I closely collaborated with stakeholders to align design objectives with business goals. I provided strategic guidance, ensured a consistent user experience across the mobile and web platforms, and facilitated effective communication between design, development, and other cross-functional teams.

Design System

Developing a thorough design system and design language involved various stages, including user research, ideation, wireframing, prototyping, and iterative testing.

We conducted user interviews and usability tests to gain valuable insights into the needs and pain points of HR professionals. From there, we iteratively designed and refined the user interface, incorporating user feedback and stakeholder input.
